Donations

First, thank you for considering a donation. Most of the people I know don't have much to spare, so a generous heart is very much appreciated.

Everything I do that involves Christian ministry is offered for free. That includes spiritual direction, preaching, weddings, funerals, leading bible studies and small group meetings, or anything else that may come up in the future. Sometimes organizations and individuals offer to give an honorarium, donation, reimbursement for expenses, or other funds to support those activities. It's appreciated, but I don't expect it.

Note: Since I don't run a registered non-profit organization or a church, donations are not tax-deductible.

Ways to Donate

Option 1: Patreon

If you'd like to contribute on a regular basis via credit or debit card, you can visit my Patreon page. The Patreon system is built around suggested tiers for monthly contributions, and currently there are four options. These are only sample/suggested amounts to make the system easy to use, but you can always choose your own amount.

If for some reason the above doesn't work on your device, you can try the following:

1. Create a free Patreon account, then choose a pledge just below the custom amount you want.
2. Go to Settings > Memberships or use this link
3. Click "View Details" for the row with my name
4. Next to "Payment Method" click on the "Edit" button
5. Where it says "Pay monthly $x/month," click on the pencil icon to edit
6. Change the amount of the pledge and click "Update"
7. Then continue with the rest of the checkout process with PayPal or your credit/debit card

Option 2: Substack

If you'd prefer to subscribe to one of my blogs (which have both free and paid options), you can do that through Substack.

Option 3: Donate by Check

If you would rather contribute by check, or need assistance with the other methods listed above, please use the contact page and I'll get right back to you.
